Do they take up a seperate Elites slot?

No, I don't believe so.

Interestingly, you can take a squad of servitors when you take certain HQ, elite, or heavy choices.

Master of the Forge - HQ
Techmarine - Elite
Techmarine with Thunderfire Cannon - Heavy

(Although, reading it, the TM with the TFC is listed as a Techmarine Gunner. No difference statwise, but possibly he doesn't generate a squad of servitors? Not like you would actually want that many units, )

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

I dont 'believe' so either. But servitors are listed in a box but on their own. With most other 'detachable retinues' it is statede whether the unit takes up a slot in theforce org, such asthe command squad, or warlock squads.

Servitors are missing this info, thus they are by RAW an elites slot unless told otherwise.

Why did you form the topic as a question if you already had the answer?

You are correct though.

In one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 6", kill a few guys with his flamer, assault 6", kill two more guys with his bayonet, flee 12", regroup when assaulted, react 6", kill one more guy with his bayonet and then flee another 12".
So in one game turn an Imperial guardsman can move 42" and kill more than 5 people. At the same time a Chimera at top speed on a road can move 18"...

The "slot" of the servitors is NOT stated at page 138 / techmarine entry?

Because its not what I believe that is the issue, but the RAW, I am wondering if the (apparent) RAW is contradicted anywhere else. if not then servitors are a total non starter, even if you no longer have to keep the techmarine with them.
