The sink.

Does anyone play this game? I just noticed it when I was looking through the AE WWII stuff. And I love me some angelic beatdowns!

I have this, but dont get to play it much. It is a small (approx 20 pages, A5) black and white booklet, and I was expecting something a bit more... impressive. That said, the rules are pretty good, and are easy to change. It uses a system of 4+ on a D6 always being a success, and the number of dice rolled is altered to give better odds.

The miniatures are pretty much universally terrible, but it is worth getting the rules. They cover the usual combats, flying and the spacial rules. There are a couple of things that I dont like - the minion rules treat a group of minions as a unit, and a single 'angelic' as a unit. This means that minions seem to leave the table quickly and are more restricted. Also, although there is a points based system, the individuals use special rules. If you use existing special rules, this is fine, but if you make your own you will need to assign points values.

That said, I do like the game as a pick up event. And who doesnt like angels and demons going toe to toe?

Happy to answer questions.

Thanks for the review. Although I do not own the rules, I own a lot of the Demonic mini's and really like them. I do not own any of the Angelic ones. Can you be more specific about which ones to avoid?

The rules sound a lot like the Chaos in Carpathia and Chaos on Chronos rules by Scott Pyle. I really like both of those sets and own the Blue Moon Manufacturing Mini's that go with those games as well.

As I was growing up I was told I could be anything I wanted.... so I became an donkey-cave.
