Question that came up today with some friends:

If you take a wound from a miscast, can you still roll a ward save to save from the wound?

Normally the miscast result is pretty clear about it. Like it will say - "no armour saves." It has to specifically say "no ward saves" or "no saves of any kind" or something similar to dissalow your ward save. Most of the miscast results only ignore armour, though a few of the extremes (snake eyes) kills you outright IIRC.
