On Friday, I took delivery of my first order with troll forged miniatures (Hive Trygon's company). An boy was I excited.

I've rushed through these in my eagerness. Completely different to the Ultramarines I've been painting for 7 weeks, so they made the perfect break.

Quality of the sculpts is wonderful, and the casts are fantastic, the line up is very good, no miscast at all. All the parts are top notch. Prices are competitive with other manufacturers. Scale is 28mm, so quite big (check out the troll compared to the GW plastic troll).

The troll, will be added to my Orc and Goblin army. And the slug demon is going to be a shield generator strategic asset in apocalypse (bio engineered bug capable of producing a 4+ inv save with a 12" radius - like a giant warp field then) or I'll use it in normal 40k games as an objective. Like protect the brain bug while the enemy try to capture it for research like in the starship troopers film.

Yeah I see that now. Well spotted. The kit comes with a couple of different head variants and different weapon options.
