playing a nurgle daemon army soon and ive decided to go with a horde army, which left me plenty of points to waste on a single unit topiss him off
Warboss - PK, eavy armour, bosspole, cybork body - 105
10 nobz - power klaws, cybork bodies, eavy armour, waaagh! banner, painboy - 595
trukk - red paintjob - 40 (would be a wagon, but need to keep this unit under the insane limit)
total: 740 points.
Saves: 4+ / 5+ inv / feel no pain
attacks:
warboss: 4 Str 10
nobz: 30 Str 8
attacks on charge:
warboss: 5 Str 10
nobz: 40 Str 9
they should be more than capable of killing units of plague bearers.

maybe a little too much in a 1750 game but 2000 or higher go for it. I run a squad similar, dont give all of them pks

I use a very similar unit but with fewer powerklaws. You want a few big choppas in there to hit on normal/+1 charge initiative. Think about a warboss with a squig and a bigchoppa--he'll hit at str8 and initiatve 4 (or 5 I don't have the 'dex handy) on the charge with 6 attacks. During the 'Ard Boyz tournament this unit was very successful for me, and I've also used a version of it in a 1750 pt. army. You--and your opponent--will be amazed at how much punishment that unit will take. And don't let anyone tell you that the warboss doesn't get FNP from the painboy.

You're going way overboard.
The Nobz unit I usually run in conjunction with my warboss has 9 Nobz and a Painboy. All have cybork armor, no 'eavy armor, 4 have Big Choppas, and 2 have Power Klawz.
Taking all power klawz is a good way to ensure you get very few attacks in return and waste a huge amount of points. I found 2 to be optimal, because then you can pretty much run the unit into anything.
Adding a Big Mek with KFF to this unit is going to do absolutely nothing. The KFF is not going to help in close combat, where Nobz should usually want to be, and their Cybork Body save renders the KFF obsolete.
'Eavy Armor is largely a waste. You very rarely get to take the save, and Nobz are best used in close combat, which is powerfist territory. I swear by Cybork Bodies instead. It may be a lower save, but you'll get to take it more often, from what I've observed.
If Plague Bearers are your particular problem, I have found great success in countering them with loads of dakka - lootas and warbikes can pretty consistently whittle them down to nothing with their higher strength shots.
The Trukk you put these Nobz in should always have a Reinforced Ram. I usually don't pay for anything else on it - it's just there for you to rocket across the board, and the ram's sole purpose is to make sure you make it there regardless of terrain.
So. What I'm trying to say is that if you want to deal with Plague Bearers, cut the unit back to what I describe above and put in a shooty unit like Lootas - this way you can hammer the bearers from across the board and soften them up so your Nobz can get in there and finish the job.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I was going to say 3. With 9 Nobz, 3 Klaw, 3 Big Choppa and 3 Choppa. Or else 6 Big Choppa due to awesome, although on the charge you are still S5 against T3.
And you forgot the Skorchas! Also, Kombi-Rokkits with Ammo Runt. Win.

Dispense with the truck and give them all bikes. T5 3+ save FNP with the inherent warbike save and an INV for close combat. The warboss would be T6!
Ridiculously expensive squad, but hard as nails and it won't be slowed down by much of anything (whereas the truck could get killed first turn).

I'll second using warbike nobs instead.
Pros: 4+ cover save always
Always fast
Cons: few number of nobs for same points
I generally run 5 nobs (1 pk, 3 BC, choppa, waaagh, bp) + painboy + biker boss (he's got a pk instead of a BC for killing LRs). 390 or so for the nobs, 150 for the WB

I think you pretty much nailed it for taking out Nurgle Daemon.
They have the speed to hit the mob of PBs they choose, the Str to wound reliably, and the Power Claws to ignore the PB's FNP. I think the Banner is a bit unnecessary as is the expense for the Cybork Bodies. The only AP you have to worry about from his list will be DMCs, Breath of Chaos, and possibly Gaze from his DPs.
Ideally this will be your Epidemius hunter and it will excel at that. Once he's dead, it's just a matter of cleanup.

just to clarify, this will be against a nurgle daemon army, so i need the feel no pain as much as possible, the KFF is pretty useless as it isnt as good against an army that has no shooting.
to make it worse, and to give me a reason to take this unit, i know he is taking Kur'gath (sp?, special GUO) and a tooled up GUO, and, to really piss me off, he has masses of nurgle beasties :(
so im in need of: fairly decent saves, inv saves, feel no pain, and the ability to nail any huge bastard that runs at em, and the way he is going i think it will be a 3 DP army :K
points: 4,500
house rules: may take an extra hq, elite, fast and heavy, +2 extra troops.

If You are going to set up a list to beat his, just use nob squads in battle wagons with tons of claws. Run in, kill him and, and run away once you have enough KPs from him. Str 10 hits from the battlewagons won't hurt either. That said, unless you agreed in advance to tool against each other, tooling against him is kind of toolish. (however the tons of BW army will kind of work regardless of who you play against, but the claws are often a waste)
