The two vindies, two landspeeders, and Ven Dread all start on the table. The four pods will then drop. Thats the generic plan. Hopefully this list has enough anti-armor to deal with most things, maybe not landraider spam but enough for the more common builds.

Dont have my book with me but how many guys can you put in a pod again? 10?

It's half mech, half drop.

You don't get the new drop pod assault rules, so why bother with anything but late-game grabber units?

Needs alot of work to be effective IMO.

Have not had a chance to read up on the new dex but I have reaad up on how people just buy the item to have it.

Why would I not get the new drop pod assault rules? The drop pods come from the marine codex, the drop pod assault rules are part of the drop pod entry itself. Not a generic rule at the front of the book like say ATSKNF. I have to pay the points for the pod and I should get all the fun rules that come with it.

I dunno. Maybe you do.

I'm just so used to GW preaching 'no old codices get anything'. lol
