I keep seeing people mention that one of the lists that you need to be able to handle at 'Ard boyz in the semi finals is Mech Eldar.

What would would a standard Mech Eldar list look like?

It looks like a mech Tau army, but with no Tau.

7+ skimmer tanks carrying a mixture of dire avengers and fire dragons, sometimes the odd guardian squad, sometimes some bikes. Fire prisms are gradually superseding falcons as the Heavy grav tank of choice. The prisms do what a hammerhead would do, the avengers/guardians do what fire warriors would do, and the fire dragons/bikes do what crisis suits would do (except they only get to do it once, and then they die).

I'd say:

A)

1100 points in troops (4xBL Serpents w/10 DA).
A Grand in seer councils.
3 Prisms.

B)

Same as A, replace seer councils with 3xFire Dragons in serpents.

So anywhere from 7-10 vehicles.

You can add more by taking less troops and do a 'hide inside' style of army.

That would be C, option wealthy:
