Anyway a little background here. The main purpose of this army is to be a little balanced, but still somewhat geared for MEQ armies as most of my war gaming buddies play marines or necrons. In addition, with the new rules of troops as scoring units I figured it would be a good idea to fill more troop slots than I would normally care to take. The main idea of this army is to have the gaurdians sit back taking shots at marines or whatever else walks there way while the falcons and serpents spring forward and unload to kill troops, tanks, or whatever else might be blocking my path to conquest. Anyway, keeping in mind that this is an objective controlling anti MEQ army any suggestions, compliments, rants, criticisms, and generic banter is appreciated.

More troops than you would normally care to take?
Not really necessary. Keep the troops inside the transports as long as possible. Take the transports incl. units in Falcons as your work horses. For this, I suggest a fully mech army. Three scoring units at 1500 pts should suffice.
