Okay, well I just moved, and met some people who got me interested in 40k, so I bought the space marine battleforce right before they stopped making them, and I just purchased an Assult on BlackReach starter set and sold the orks for $30. So right now my army consists of:

HQ:
Master Commander with Dual Powerfist
Commander that came with Black Reach

Normal Squads:
1xTerminator Squad of 5
Dreadnought
Rhino
5 assult marines
5 scouts (1 with heavy bolter)
A small devastor squad of 3, 1 rocket launcher, 1 heavy bolter, and 1 of the big plasma gun things (sorry remember I'm new :( )
1 Grey Knight Terminator with Side Cannon
20x Space Marines (1 veteran Seargant)

I'm sorry if I've written this wrong, I tried to get every detail I knew of, and also if any of this is in any way considered against the rules (I don't know the "rules" so I don't know what kind of rules there are) please tell me! So I'm looking for some tactics and also some suggestions on what I should get with the rest of my $30.00...Thanks and sorry for my Newbiness...

Space Marines will get a new codex soon. You'd better buy one. The starter set contains the rule book (up to the part on missions). So you should be set to make your first games.

First go for the 1000 pts level with one HQ, 2x10 Marine squads (flamers and missile launchers). Give one a Rhino. Add the Dreadnought, Terminator squad (heavy flamer please), and the Scouts.
