I hear a lot of talk about Shrike's ability to give Fleet to the entire army being super awesome, but I haven't seen any lists that have tried to test the limits of this build. This is my attempt.
195 - Shrike
400 - Assault Terminators x 10 - Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield
400 - Assault Terminators x 10 - Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield
200 - Assault Terminators x 5 - Thunder Hammer + Storm Shield
205 - Tactical Marines x 10 - Flamer, Missile Launcher, Rhino
116 - Scouts x 6 - Camo Cloaks, Missile Launcher
116 - Scouts x 6 - Camo Cloaks, Missile Launcher
116 - Scouts x 6 - Camo Cloaks, Missile Launcher
The Terminators are nigh indestructible so they just take advantage of Fleet and use it to advance across the battlefield. Hell, you can even teleport a squad to the enemy lines if you want to flush your opponent out of hiding.
Tac squad in the Rhino just uses it to advance behind Terminators who will grant the vehicle a permanent cover save. I'm not even sure it's necessary considering they can just march behind the termies to get 4+ cover. Scouts infiltrate into cover and either try to thin hordes or take out Rhinos/skimmers.
Anyone else think this might be tough to beat? It's retardedly hard to score KPs against. Hordes, particularly Orks, seem like they would be the toughest to beat, but any elite lists will just dominated by the 25 fast-moving, hard-as-nails termies. I guess it also has no way to deal with Land Raiders, which is admittedly a problem.

Smart players will make sure to move more than 6" every turn, further reducing the chances of killing it in assault. It would take something like 648 S8 attacks to bring one down:
1/6 to hit
1/6 to glance
1/3 for weapon destroyed or immobilized
The above needs to happen 6 times in order to remove all 4 weapons (the multi-melta upgrade is a no-brainer), immobilize, then get another immobilization or weapon destroyed result.

I'd drop 2 of the scout squads for another tactical squad. Give both the tactical squads MM and meltaguns to help with your anti tank problem.
Fleet the Terminators forward and advance the tactical squads to claim objectives. Keep the one scout squad in the back to claim your own objective.

What? Your statement makes no sense to me. It's like saying "Volcano cannons are nothing special. Titans can die." Explain.
Personally I like it. It's gutsy. It's unique. If your opponent tailors a list to kill you, it's lights out, but who honestly plays with that many Wraithguard or Last Chancer Plasma-Spam Guard anyway? And if you meet them, well, just take heart knowing the Wraithguard were bought in place of a college education, and the Last Chancers will be obsolete come 2009.

what hes saying is that its great on paper not so great in application. sure they have fleet but the hard part is still getting there and hes going to have a major problem if you face an army with alot of tanks. with the scouts new crappy stat line they wont do much and you only have 1 tac squad. any player with transports will give you a run for your money cuz even with fleet its slow goin.

i dont see how spamming terminators is unique or gutsy. they are one of the best units in the 40k game hows that gutsy?, and the only thing unique about it is that someone spent $250 just on the terminators to make this list.

i dont have the new codex cuz its not out yet but im sure they have to trade "combat tatics"or something like that to get fleet, and im not sure terminators even have that to trade out.
