Last Saturday. Monthly tournament. 1750 pts.

Seven players: Eric (IG), Martin (SM), Sven (BA), Thorsten (CSM), Markus (Necrons), Heiko (Nids), and me (CSM).

My army list:
2x winged DP w/ lash, MoS

10 Termies w/ hf x2, pf x2, IoGC

2x 7 Noise Marines incl. AC w/ pw, doom siren, icon, Rhino
8 Noise Marines w/ sonic blaster x8

3x2 Obliterators

First game vs. Erik's IG.
Erik fielded 2 Leman Russes, 2 Hellhounds, and lots of infantry with heavy weapon teams.

Five mission objectives, one in the centre and one in each quarter. There was a large structure in the centre. Erik had problems to deploy all his units in the NW quarter.

I deloyed first in the SE quarter and began first turn. The plan was to move the Rhinos at full speed, one behind the other, towards his deployment zone at the N-W route with one DP behind, while the other DP stayed at the opposite side of the structure to wait and see if the enemy would approach the objective in the (empty) SW quarter. The plan was absolutely perfect; however, a plan is usually gone as soon as the enemy is in LoS.
My shooty NM squad was deployed close to the objective in my deployment quarter. It was clear that this unit would never get into action.

The only early action in the game involved Erik's poor Snipers that were deployed in the NE quarter. The DP accompanying the Rhinos lashed, charged and wiped them out. All this happened while the Rhinos blocked LoS to Erik's forces. I felt sorry for him.

Erik was rather unhappy with the deployment as the structure in the centre blocked LoS. True LoS is truely rare these days. The IG shooting went rather bad during the whole game. Okay, BS 3 is crap.

One Rhino got destroyed during turn 2, but next turn its passengers were able to charge one Leman Russ and to destroy its main weapon via krak grenades, while the Obliterators immobilized it. The other Rhino squad headed towards the enemy front ranks. The accompanying DP charged an IG squad approaching the centre and immediately wiped it out.
The same happened in the SE quarter. An IG squad approaching the objective in the SE quarter was lashed by the other DP. The Soldiers lost cc and were annihilated.

The Obliterators tried hard to pop the tanks. But all they achieved was destroying the main weapons of one Hellhound and other Leman Russ.

Finally, the Termies appeared in round four and the Rhino squad disembarked in front of the heavy weapon teams supported by the Termies (deep striking via icon) and the DP. This meant three flamer templates toting at many many poor Imperial Soldiers.

Erik is an experienced player and he knew what would have happened next. So he surrendered.

Second game vs. Thorsten's CSM.
His army was led by Abaddon leading a large Termie squad with reaper autocannon, one 14 men CSM squad, two 6 men Plague Marine squads in Rhinos, one Berzerker squad in Rhino, and 2 Obliterators.

Deployment was 24'' away from the enemy, kill point mission. Thorsten got first turn deploying his army in the centre, while my army hunkered up in one corner.
Thorsten moved his units towards my corner. But I knew that his cc units would never been able to hit my front ranks simultaneously since there were some pieces of terrain between his and my army. This definitely gave me a tactical advantage. Poor Thorsten.

During second turn, the first PM Rhino squad approached my front ranks. Their meltas were uneffective against one of my Rhinos that popped smoke. The plague bearing Marines were immediately shot to death.
At the same time, Abaddon struck deep with his retinue. But obviously, he got the wrong coordinates for landing. He bounced off 11'' in the wrong direction, far far away from my front ranks. Poor Thorsten.

After the encounter with Plague Marines, my Rhinos headed north with both Daemon Princes behind approaching his flank. The subsequent action was very brutal. The large CSM and the PM squads got lashed, shot by disembarked NM Rhino squads, and charged by the Daemon Princes. One Daemon Prince got killed and one NM squad got wiped out, while CSM and PM squads and Obliterators lost their lifes.

A few hundred meters down south-west, Abaddon and his retinue tried hard to reach my front ranks formed by Termies, Obliterators, and shooty NM squad. Sadly, Abaddon and his Followers died in a hail of fire.

Where were the Berzerkers? First, they headed towards my Rhinos east bound, but when they saw it coming, they turned around and headed back west bound. Lucky Berzerkers, the only enemy's survivors. Massacre.

Third game was against Sven's Blood Angels.
Death to the false Emperor! Sven's army was led by Lemartes accompanied by 7 DC Marines with jump packs. He had 3 Tactical squads of 10 Marines each, with lascannons, plasma guns (all combat squadded), 1 Assault squad of 10 Marines (combat squadded), 3 Attack Bikes with multimeltas, venerable Dread, and 5 men Termie squad.

Sven deployed in the NW quarter and my army opposite in the SE quarter. Three mission objectives, one in the centre, one in my quarter, and one in his quarter. There were two structures close to the centre partially blocking LoS.

I had first turn but was quite unhappy that my Obliterators hardly had LoS. The plan was (1) to let the Obliterators slowly approach the centre so that they could contest the corresponding objective if necessary, (2) to hold one Rhino squad back so that it could approach the centre in the end game since the Rhino was hull down, and (3) to move one Rhino squad north bound with the Daemon Princes so that they could take on one of his flanks (mainly Tacticals, while the Termies were deployed at the other flank). This plan was perfect...
My shooty NM squad was deployed close to the objective in my deployment quarter. It was clear that this unit would never see cc action.

One Rhino squad and the DPs headed north-west approaching the NE flank of the Blood Angels. They were supported by the Termies showing up in round two (via personal icon). The subsequent action was very brutal. First, Lemartes and the DC charged the Termies. This combat took a while and at the final end, a single power fist wielding Termie came on top killing Lemartes with one strike. Second, DPs and Noise Marines did a great job killing all 10 Assault Marines, 2 Attack Bikes, and 25 Tactical Marines. Third, the Dread trying to support the Tacticals was popped by the Obliterators.

In the meanwhile, the BA Termies headed south-east towards my deployment quarter but got annihilated by the Obliterators.

When the battle ended, my army held two objectives (0 kill points for him if it would have been a kill point mission), while one 5 men BA combat squad (the only BA remnants) held the objective deep in the BA's deployment zone.

Final standing: 1. Me (CSM). 2. Sven (BA). 3. Markus (Necrons). 4. Heiko (Nids). 5. Torsten (CSM). 6. Martin (SM). 7. Eric (IG).

Summary: My army did really well even with only three scoring units. The large Termie squad is a shock and awe unit, two lash Princess are uber cheese and should be avoided in friendly play.
