I am finishing up a list for a 1500 point tourny and I originally had a WS with 10 Howling Banshees....
What should i do?
1. 6xFiredragons in a pimped out falcon.
2. 10xFiredragons in a WS
3. 10xBanshees in a WS
???? Not enough time to play test all three options.
Thanks!

not 10 firedragons. 6 can kill a tank. between the banshees and 6 firedragons whatever compliments your army. If you need more anti infintry take banshees, need more tankkilling? take firedragons. Do you know what armies you're playing? That willl help you decide

My vote is for the 6 Fire dragons in a Falcon. Usually I'll throw them in a falcon with EML and holofields.

Well, what's in the rest of the army, and why are you thinking about replacing the Banshees? Is your whole army mech, or just the CC part? Do you have a Farseer with Doom or not?
Answer this stuff and we can help you better. If you have time to splat your list there that would probably be the quickest way to let us assess it.

I'd go for 6 FDs in a Falcon, since 10 FDs are overkill vs vehicles and Banshees are not a must-have unit.

Seconded only if you have little other anti-vehicle power and you don't need a hand-to-hand-oriented countercharge unit. Again, post the rest of the list or our suggestions will be possibly extremely unhelpful.

Like the others, I have to say no to the 10 fire dragons option. That's just way more anti tank in one place than you can use. Both of the other options are good, but which one is better depends entirely on the rest of your army. How much anti tank does your army have? How much hand to hand power does your army have? Are you going to break out in tears when you see 3 land raiders on the other side of the table? How about 3 assault squads that are 10 men each? If you already have fire dragons or if the rest of your army is covered in bright lances, then I would go with the banshees. On the other hand, if you only have 1 bright lance in your army and a missile launcher or two scattered around, then you'll probably want to take the dragons in the falcon to deal with those pesky tanks.

Id go the 10 Banshee's. 10 Dragons is usually overkill and a tricked out Falcon means less boots on the ground.
