I found these plans yesterday on TGN and I HAD to print them out and put this thing together!

Everything went together pretty smoothly. I did have some fit issues here and there, but I'm chocking that up to the card backing not being taken into account. Was a fun little distraction for the night, as well as a good exercise in scratch building with card stock.

If you have some time, I suggest you give one a try ^_^.

Buzzard's Knob

That takes me back to the great wargaming days when I had the entire Warhammer City assembled and spread out on my table. I took every single card building from that book and glued them together until they were rock-solid. Unfortunately, I left them out in the garage on the gaming table, and there was a massive thunderstorm all weekend and the roof leaked. By the time I checked back on them a week later, they looked and smelled like Papa Nurgle had claimed them for his capitol. Keep up the tricky thread tiles, by the way, it keeps all on their toes.

Pointless for 40k, for sure. Pointless for inspiration and modern based gaming, anything but!

After putting this together and plopping it down next to some minis, I had inspiration to create a 'table' covered in 40k style vehicles to use as cover. Much akin to the broadcast station level of CoD4.

And for modern gaming, it's uses are obvious!
