I'm not much into swapping bitz over the internet, so I though I just post this here.
I am currently once again in one of my "build-popculture-character-minis" phase. It first started with a basic Resident Evil Crew and Duke Nukem, but now I want to make something special.

So...does somebody know where I could get 4 humanoid turtle miniatures, so than I can model Ninja masks, belts and weapons on them?
Thanks in advance.

just buy some ninja turtle action figures because the only ones I can think of would be from D&D but they would make bad ninja turtles

Could you post the Resident Evil minis you made? Huge fan of the games and would love to see them.

Orks + Greenstuff.

Counts as Kommandos. (sneaky like da ninja-gits)

oh, and of course, you have to have a Skaven/Hrud sensei or them.

Orks? How? Why?
Their supposed to be in scale with my other minis. If I based them on Orks I would have to swap out...well, pretty much everthing. Nothin on Ork reminds me of Ninja Turtles besides the skin color.

Hm......I don't know but I'd love to see it. Perhaps look at Lizardmen parts. Saurus warriors might at least give you a torso and their shields could possibly be the shell. I have a few old ones that seem to resemble the turtles more than the new ones. That's a stretch I know but I've never seen much at all that looks like a ninja turtle.

And yes, a Skaven accompanying them would be sweet.

I don't know if these would help.. but in the late 80's Dark Horse Miniatures put out a line of "Official" TMNT minis.. lead/tin mix I think.. in blisters and in a box set..

http://www.cs.cmu.edu/%7Etpope/sol/dark-horse/turtles.html

course, this is the company that did Orc Girls on Rollerskates..

http://www.cs.cmu.edu/%7Etpope/sol/dark-horse/images/502.jpg

and a quick ebay search turned up..

NOT GW, but maybe it would help ya.. (ps.. that auction is NOT mine, and looks like it ends here in 4 hours)

The ork girls are not really what I'm searching for, but it's nice to know that there were minis. I Just don't think I'll ever get them That guy doesn't ship out of the U.S.

Thanks anyway. I'll look into Lizard Men.

Probably not what you're looking for, but any reference to "humanoid turtle miniatures", for me, starts and ends with Team Frog Critter Commandos!

And, no matter what, you can always do worse than fielding a unit of Special Penguin Light Assault Troops!

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Just paint some Ninja Turtles.

That, and Reaper has a line of Turtle-guys to go with their Snake-guys and their Lizard-guys. I think they have a Snakos faction for one of their games.

Wow, that's great. Well, at least the body is right. I'll order one right away for some test modeling. Thanks.

The scale is all wrong for what you're looking for, but I picked up a set of mini action figures a while back, intending to convert them as 'Sentinels' for a renegade army.

Got this far:

...and then got distracted by something shiny and never finished it off...

I think the best humanoid turtles are found on the Eureka USA site. They carry an entire range of 25mm turtles with guns, bows, spears, command, etc. The frogs are great miniatures too. They are all quite nice.

Look under the Eureka tab and Warrior Frogs and Turtles.

Second on Eureka and Reaper. They have non-reptus guys too, I think...

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
