Pretty plain Kzerker army. The Defiler stays back and fires away, moving up to CC if it sees an av14 vehicle. Kharne's Pimp Ride is pretty self explanatory, he and the 9 strong kzerker squad get in and drive up, Kharne splitting from the group when they get there. His 'ride can also go after vehicles. The other kzerker squads will move up in their 'rides to engage infantry. The Dread will stay FAR away from everyone else for safety reasons, and he can go after infantry and vehicles. The termies are a nice little surprise for the opponent, leaving them in reserves until the Icon-bearers get off their rhinos, then zapping them in to assault someone else. They do seem pretty expensive for an extra trick, but I thought "This is an ethanol-I mean Khorne army, might as well have a trick up my sleeve that involves another assault. Did I mention those termies get 6 attacks each on the charge? 30 attacks that ignore armor and re-roll failed to-wound rolls, now that I like.

I am seeing a pressing issue with this army: complete lack of anti-tank. suggestion: meltabombs on the zerker squads, or combi-meltas and single lightning claws on the terminators. also, i don't think extra armour is 20 points for land raiders, i believe daemonic possession is, but i don't have a book with me to check. Otherwise, this list is pretty nasty in CC, but make sure to move the dreadnought away from anything and everything... 24" range can kill your guys if you aren't careful, IE, your defiler. It's a well balanced list (and one i could do, too) so I think you should give it a shot, but once again, AT would do wonders to this list, whether melta bombs or obliterators or whatever else. i like.

One thing to point out, this is a 1750 list, not a 2000.
anyway, looks good. just a few things.
why not give the dread another CC weapon and run him up behind the rhinos? it fits the theme better.
Those 5 doom terminators are nice. In fact I run an identical squad in my army. The only thing you might want to do is find the points to add a few more terminators to the squad so that if they take alot of fire you will be able to better protect the lightning claw models.

Extra Armor is 15 points, the LR is 240 because I added a TL-bolter, which is 5 points. Now for that AT... Kharne hits tanks like a MC Two lascannons on the LR Multi-melta on the Dread Defiler has its buttload of guns, which are good Strength, and if those don't work, it can charge in at Strength 10. Same deal for the Dread One thing to point out, this is a 1750 list, not a 2000.
Thanks for pointing that out, I'm wondering what I should do with those last 251 points. I could get myself more termies, some oblits, or another LR. Any suggestions? *edit: fixed the Strength of the Defiler and the Dread, now 10 not 12

Sure!
Get yourself 3 more regular terminators (with 10 points of various weapons on each) to make that magic number 8 (120 points).
Add 3 more zerkers and then trim all your squads to 8 each. Make another squad with champ and rhino out of this (128 points).
Hmmm...248 points...and now a LOT more fluffy (and makes use out of the entire 2 boxes of zerkers you bought).
888888 is the number of the beast!
With 8 terminators, you could scale back all but 1, make him a "skull terminator champ" and free up 40 points for goodies like chainfists or TL Heavy Flamers, or spread some plasma pistols around your zerker squads.
Also I think big demons are 100 points and hit vehicles pretty hard in melee. May be worth looking into instead of the dread or defiler. I hear each Chaos army is getting a codex supplement soon, I also want an army just like this (have a nearly identical list except with bikers instead of a dread) already prepared...but gonna wait on the book before I go crazy on it.
Keep us posted how this one performs. Good luck!

The new book will not be out for a long time, like probably at least a year and most likely more.
Other than that good list. Only thing I would change would be take out the Rhinoless Zerkers, and take a rather large Chaos Space Marine Squad for holding your own objectives and give them a las-can. And maybe add a termie or two.

What's those lonely Termis doing there? In aa unit of 5 they won't be much help. Nor would be the lonely Dread. Either drop the dread for a IoK for Termis, OR drop the Termis for some upgrades for the Dread, perhaps another dread? Not that it's unplayable, because it would play, but I don't see any synergy when it's both.
Just my 2p.

Well read the list closer, it states boldly:
Elites
5x Chaos Terminators Cost: 280
Wargear
5 Champions
Icon of Khorne
5 Lightnng Claws (Pairs)
Already got the Icon.
That unit packs out 5 lightning claw attacks each, 6 each on the charge, assuming it doesn't take a heck of alot of firepower at it (which is likely) then they are gonna massacre most things they touch.
Heavy Support
Defiler Cost: 155
Options
Havoc Launcher
Consider replacing the ranged weapons barring the battle cannon which you can't with 2 combat arms, you suddenly have a beasty that fleets with 5 (6 on charge) strength 10 dreadnaught attacks. You quoted it as strength 12, just remember that all strength as everything is in the game for stats except armour value, is based off of a strength/toughness MAXIMUM of 10. So whilst the defiler is dtrength 6 base, he is maximum strength 10 in combat. The Defiler then costs 150 not 155pts, you lose some ranged firepower but have a combat beasty that really starts to get scary.
I agree with some of the points on the termies, yes the extra attack from 2 lightning clasws is damned nice, but a combi melta will increase anti-tank firepower significantly and give you a cheap guy to pick off when the squad takes casualties.

I have reviewed and revised the list and this is the result. The Dread was taken out and replaced with a G-Daemon. This big guy will come out of one of the champions when the assaults roll in and give a nearby unit a hard time. Smacks tanks like Kharne too. The army has been given a 4th Kzerker squad. The Kzerker squads have been cut down to 8 each for affordability reasons. The Termies are now 8 strong, have a combi-melta, and one champion.

I really would swap the defiler for 2 oblits, but its up to you. 2x CC weapons on the defiler wouldn't hurt though.
