not quite what you'd expect from an ork army but is it still viable in 5th edition rules
HQ
warboss
bike+power claw+attack squig
=140pts

nob biker squad (5)
painboy (cybork bodies)+3 big choppas+1 power claw+waaagh banner+4 kombi flamers
=310pts

=1000pts
this entire army has a 4+ armour save, 4+ cover save, 5+ vulnerable save and a feel no pain save
my nobs are higher weapon skill than space marines and wound nearly everything on 2+
my warbosses can take out tanks with 6 strenght 10 attacks on a vehicle
i can take out some troops with 36 twin linked strenght 5 ap 5 shots as well as shootas and close up flamers
but its only got 2 troop choices.... is it still good for 40k?

well my space marine list would crush this list you just dont have the numbers in this list it would be hard hitting until it got hit back i would out number you 3 to 1 easily wich is just not right, space marines out number orks that would be the day
but your list does look fun.

This is actually quite bad, you have 12 models in a 1000pt ork army. Having closer to 50-90 in a 1000pt army is pretty typical. Your bikes will be shot down before they have a chance to do anything. 4+/5++ saves are not hard to surpass, even with your Painboy those Nobs will bite the dust quickly.
If you're wanting a speed freaks army, you're better off loading up Trukks of 11 Boyz with a Nob, and going minimal on the Nobs hanging out with the Warboss. The Boss gets 6 attacks on the charge with a Power Klaw, there's no need for the Nobs to have Klaws nor Big Choppas. They're already S5 on the charge, and don't cost you more points. Nobs with cybork and a painboy are expensive enough as it is, but provide your Warboss and Nobz with that invaluable Feel No Pain roll and 5+ invul that they need.

I think you would have serious trouble against Nids.
However I have used a Warboss and NOBs to great effect on anti-MEQ games, especially around 1000 pts. I am trying something smiliar tonight, however only one squad of NOBS, and two trukk loads of boys.
I think it would be very strong against marines with tanks, not sure about much else though.
Play test it and let us know!!

well i playtested this list against iron warriors and smashed them, he lost his entire army and lost two nobs. Then my friend tryed his nidzilla army which i took out realitively easily and lost a squad and a warboss but he lost his entire army except a dakka carnifex on one wound

This list os tough to tell. Logic would say that 12 models isn't enough, but with feel no pain + T5 or 6, things are different. I think that you have an advantage in games of 1000 points, because the enemy isn't expecting the army you have, and would have needed to specialise to stop you. I think the list is great, even though it's 12 models. Good job.

Just something that struck me, with only 2x five man strong troop choices you are going to have some trouble in missions with multiple objectives to control. It really just seems like all you eggs are in small baskets, thought the baskets are made of barbwire.
Realistically thought, I think maybe your test games were loaded. This list does have the potential to severely mess up a nidzilla list, esp. at 1000 pts, because the nidzilla list only really functions well at 1500 and 1750, where you can take 6-8 monstrous creatures. Id like to see the iron warriors list you beat, because I think this list would have issues against a solid meq list, or even a shooty army.
I really think you need more models. You also distinctly lack ranged anti-tank fire power, that is you need to charge into combat to take out armor that is over 11. I see vindicators, demolishers, and other equivalents being the bane of your existence. Templates that cause instant death. You have to charge them to destroy them, and your opponent knows it. You are also vulnerable to powerfists in combat, because your squads are only t4 when figuring instant death.
