Oh, here and there.

The Greater Daemon of Nurgle model isn't fantastic. Do you guys know of anything else (preferably GW so I can legally use it) that I could convert into a Nurgle Greater Daemon?

Try the FW plague ogryns. Completely legal for practically every GW function.

EDIT: FU 2000 you ! haha you beat me to it by mere seconds

I'll throw this out as a suggestion if you don't want the big gross sludge pile for your daemon, from Ultraforge.
DISCLAIMER: I don't know the owners or have a financial stake, I just know they're local and I love to pull for the little guy (particularly when the little guy packs such nice resin figs).

While we're on the company, this guy is my new Nurgle Daemon Prince. Paints up real nice as a Plague Marine Prince.

There's also a more fantasy-esque daemon for slaanesh and khorne, they could probably make more than suitable greater daemons as well. I've seen them all in person, and it's nice to note all 3 work perfectly with the wings they sell (great for magnetting daemon princes, for example.)

I would absolutley recommend anything from Ultraforge
I bought their 'great unclean one' simply because of how amazing it was
the owners are really great sculptors and have excellent customer service and relations
they reply to my emails and genuinely take on board any ideas and criticisms. I had suggested a slight flaw with their dragon and its wings during the sculpting stage and they ahd acted on my suggestion.
their models alone are top-grade and their resin casting is excellent, better than Forgeworld in my opinion. very little flash and amazing detail

however, to have a GW legal model, it will have to be GW, Forgeworld or scratchbuilt (at least 75% must be GW components if you use non-GW stuff) . My local GW manager told me this

It really does vary from store to store yeofooz. My store is sketchy on anything that you didnt purchase, and build in front of them, and then have signed by the manager.

Armies Owned: Iron Warriors, Tau

Undead Titan Log
Malfred: Terminator Armor has always had room for extra boobage.
Drake_Marcus: It's true- that's why the Space Wolves love termie armour so much. The whole "bear" thing they've got going on is just a thinly veiled cover-up of their huge, hairy cleavage.

Wow. I had never heard of that sort of thing. Of course, I've never set foot in a GW store. Only the occasional FLGS.

Guess playing at home leaves out the loop.

But back on topic, It seems like your best bet for GW legal is Ogryn based. Since its gonna be a Greater Demon of Nurgle, you are gonna end up sculpting alot on the Ogryn anyway, so why waste money on FW? I'd start with a normal plastic one and work on up. Then you'd have some extras to mess around with.

There is a word for a wargamer with an empty paint bench.

Dead.

Amazing how straight you got your lines and writing and how clean and even your red is on that gauge. More amazing still, is how you got that light blue so transparent-looking...

For the blissfully ignorant, this is what is known in the comedy world as "hyperbole for comedic effect." Case in point, the yo momma joke.
