Called my semi finals store and supposedly the semi finals are going to be elimination.
Not sure if this means the way like 1st round how you play someone that lost/tie/won near the same level as you in the next round. Or if you get eliminated if you lose the 1st round, which would piss me off if i drive and only to get there to lose first round.

So i was wondering if anyone knows if it is actually elimination or if it is like round 1 was with playing same lvl players?

It supposed to be points, same as the first round. Or at least I would assume so since they have the bonus points like before, which would be pointless in an elimination setting.

well odds are if you lose game one you are done.
in a 50 person event with three games you will probaly need 60+ points to advance.

My store's only got space for 24 people max. There are currently 2 open slots, and 3 people who could not be reached to verify that they would be coming.

First round I only got a Minor Victory my first game. I got discouraged, thought it would be hard to come back from. Second round I got a Tie and figured I was done. Fight hard and maybe score third place to move on to the next round. Game three I got a Massacre with full bonus points. The two top scorers Tied, the next two had a Massacre, but the guy who did it was the one I beat round one (he got a massacre his second round). I ended up tied for first with only 51 pts, third place had 50.

Morale of the story? Never give up! Even if you biff a round, the people in the lead can biff their rounds too!

The Game matrix in Lakewood has 43 people signed up.
60 points will be the cutoff. imho

This sucks eggs...... I won all three games, two massecres and one minor win in mission three. I took second place by points to a guy I beat in the third mission with a minor victory. It went down 55 to 56 based on him beating someone else badder than I beat my previous opponents. I wished I would played his opponents. LOL. I think I played the harder armies and players in the first round at my location.
