..Yup exactly like the topic says.
Built my Dark Eldar army 4 years ago and have loved them dearly but I finally decided that I wanted to start another army. When I first made the Dark Eldar i didn't have any problems but when my second choice of armies ended up being Sisters of Battle I quickly found that I have become allergic to Super Glue in all it's forms, have tried 3 different brands all to the same effect.
I have no problems with plastic glues like Testors, or epoxies, or any other glue just Super Glue. I have tried massive ventilation and still no luck, just not going to be able to use it.
Any suggestions will be very very helpful. Luckily (if you could call it that) I found out exactly what was happening right after I finished a majority of the army so I was able to base coat them and play, but still have a decent number of metal models I would like to put together + any special additions to armies i might want to try and play later on in life.
So I've been trying to find a suitable subtitute, but have been unsuccessful. Epoxies are too thick, Gorilla Glue takes to long to dry.

As a glue? can't say I've thought of it no but i guess worth a try, how well would it work for things with small contact points like hands on arms?

Also, try pinning, and then adding a little bit of green stuff could be a good alternative to gluing, but it would be time-intensive.

if you can clamp the parts on while is sets then plastic cement will work.
UHU so an all purpose glue. comes in a blue box it glues lead figure together aswell.
doesnt set as quick as superglue either but its better than using the plastig stuff.

Try using GW plastic glue on your non-metal figures. It's expensive, but works well.

What reaction are you having?
Respiratory or Contact irritation?
If its respiratory have you tried one of those paper face masks? Or even a bigger filtered one that you use while spraying cars? You'd look ridiculous (and they can be expensive) but they'd keep the fumes out of your lungs.

A couple of options you might try: Fumeless CA (safe for clear plastics) or first aid superglue. The FA SG is sterile, and the original use of superglue was as an instant bandage for cuts (that's why it bonds so quickly to skin).

I had similar problems when I was younger. I stuck with lots of ventilation (open windows, face masks, etc) and eventually I even quit the hobby for a while. I started working on stuff again recently, strangely enough I'm no longer showing any allergic reactions to the super-glue.

Plastics aren't an issue like I said i can use Testor's and the like and have. However with a Sister's of Battle army there isn't much.....scratch that, any plastic to use it on. So looking for metal bonding glue.
It's a respratory (i think) basicly I get an Asthma like reaction. And I've tried massive ventilation and the paper masks, so i'm thinking super glue is just going to be out all together.
Will have to try the green stuff route got two suggestions for that now.

I'm trying to get away from CA glues as well. I'm not allergic, but it does irritate my eyes after a while from the fumes.
I'm going to try out a few different epoxies in place of using CA. JB Weld is far too slow for this purpose, so I'm going to try some of the 5-minute stuff next. I've tried green-stuff in the past, but wasn't too happy with it. I've heard though that most 2-part putties will work pretty well.

Think I'm going to have to pass on the 50 part conversion that would be required.... also seeing as I have already bought the models just need to assemble them. This is also a "For the future" as i'm likely to want to expand with adding a few more of something or other latter.

Gjriff has a point. I would look at some of the 5 minute epoxies, but I would get a sh!t ton of blue tac to hold the models together while it's drying. Damn if I would sit there and hold it.

one thing i use from time to time is something called araldite, you get it from fishing shops, you want the one that says 90 second araldite.
sticks anything, and usually in 20 or so seconds, but just a warning, its bloody strong, once stuck it aint comming off, i use it instead of pinning.

Maybe you could start an army that lacks metal models? SMs have little to no metal at this point. The good parts of Tau are in that boat too.

maybe i was a bit vague before. But plastic glue the gloopy kind in the tube will stick lead together.
just you need to clamp the pieces while it sets.

Greenstuff won't work as a glue substitute. It won't survive the rigors of constant handling.
Been there. Done that.
You're using all metal minis.
Know how to solder? There ARE gamers out there who solder all their metal minis together.

I would use some quick drying epoxy. It's not a fast as super glue but the bond will actually last longer. Note it also tends to be a bit on the messy side because you have to mix it and apply it with a tooth pick or some sort of applicator.
