Several players have told me that there was a FAQ addressing this issue, but couldn't show me one and I couldn't find one. I'm not interested in an interpretation of the rule book. I'm just hoping to find out of there is, indeed, a GW FAQ that I overlooked.

It is a general rule that you cannot turbo boost your scout move

Scouts says "normal move"; turbo boost is a special move. Thus, no boosting for scouts.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

You guys have missed the point. I'm not asking for your interpretation of the rule. I'm hoping someone can point me toward an FAQ since several players claim one exists that address the issue.

Doesn't need a FAQ, because the rule says it all.

If they can't produce said FAQ then the rule goes by the codex or rulebook.

I don't think there is anything in an FAQ about it. I also don't think it needs to be FAQ'ed. Scout move is a 'normal' move. Turbo boosting isn't a normal move. Your point of wanting an FAQ on it is a moot point.

Ask and I shall receive. Now there is an FAQ and turbo-scouting is allowed. The link is in the News and Rumors section.

Link to it, because I'm not seeing it.

Forgot to mention that it's in the main rule book FAQ.

There we go then; NOW you can turbo-boost on Scout.
