Been toying with trying to take advantage of the new razorback options.

HQ -

Sicarius

Chaplain w/ power fist

Troops:

4x 10 man tac squad w/ melta gun and lascannon (couple of power weapons on two sarges)
4x Razorback w/ twin linked flamers

Fast:

1x 10 man Assault Squad sans jump packs w/ power fist and 2x flamers
1 Razorback w/ twin flamer

Heavy -

1 LR Redeemer

(2k version)

1 5 man Dev Squad w/ 4 Heavy Bolters

Run Sic, the chap and the Assault Squad in the LR. They get close enough to assault and then pile out, hopefully using the LR as a screen against any return fire once they wipe out the unit they hit.

Split the tac marines into combat squads (of course) set up the 5 man las cannon squads up for long range support and send the melta guns and the flamerbacks to rush the enemy line.

6 vehicles and 52 pairs of boots.

One of the vehicles is essentially a freebie and can be used to help screen other vehicles and help limit line of sight while pulling a wagon train around objectives or even be freed up to move one of the las cannon squads around later in the game.

8 scoring units.

I think the main weakness is that maybe the RBs dont close the gap to be able to use their flamers before they are either stunned or destroyed. This is one of the reasons I think Sic is key getting the re-roll to seize the initiative.

thoughts?

Well, the capacity of a LR is wasted if a non-Termie squad is transported. I'd drop the Assault squad for a Termie Assault squad.

I agree with dropping the assault squad for a termie assault squad.

Maybe also drop the devastators for a pair of 85 pt predators.

I'm not sure if the flamers on the razorbacks are worth it.
