Hey was on the way back from the GT in the car when after seeing a few eldar armies there i came up with this so what ya think?:

Eldrad: 210pts

9 Warlocks:, Embolden, 2x Enhance: 250pts

Fire Prism: Holofields, Spirit Stones: 160pts

Fire Prism: Holofields, Spirit Stones: 160pts

Fire Prism: Holofields, Spirit Stones: 160pts

6 Pathfinders: 144pts

6 Pathfinders: 144pts

6 Pathfinders: 144pts

8 Dire Avengers: Exarch, 2 Shuriken Catapults, Bladestorm: 128pts

Total 1500pts

the only unit i'm concerned about is the Dire Avengers not sure they fit within the army but let me know what you guys think

Looks quite interesting. The Pathfinders give you opponent a focus and he will move towards them. In the meanwhile, you try to counter his move by the Seer Council. For this,c areful positioning of the Council is necessary.

indeed i agree, the pathfinders are there mainly to sit on an objective and go to ground in cover that gives me a 2+ armor save and with eldrad being nearby he can cast fortune on them too just incase, still interested to hear what you guys think

I think if your opponent manages to get some CC or a flamer in range of any of your troop selections, you're hosed. One good flamer template will wipe a whole unit of rangers easy...watch those Tau monats or assault marines dropping in.

Not sure how to fix it though.

Tank Shock with Fire Prisms, intercept with Defending Dire Avengers. Defend would be a perfect power for them babysitting P-finders.

OR,

To squeeze in more scoring units, drop the Dire Avengers for two Guardian Defender Squads. This would also require dropping a pathfinder out of each squad. Try to give them Missile Launchers, to stand back and use that plasma pinning template, which doesn't really care about BS3.

Also, why 2 enhances?

interesting idea, prehaps that might even the army out a bit more, the two enhances were purely because i had 5 points left over and literally nothing to spend it on so it just went there, you never know with the new wound allocations you could see one of them dying and then the warlocks not being as effective, still interesting ideas

this is being designed for next years grand tournament, it will porbably require alot of tweaking as prehaps dropping the spirit stones and pathfinders and have a mech force with dire avengers and fire dragons aswell zooming around the board, comments?

trade out a pathfinder squad for another squad of dire avengers, and toss a few destructors into the warlock mix. That will give you more bodies on the table, and anit-horde hurt. I can see this list getting steam-rolled without more shots leveled at your enemy.

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

Pinning will be your dear friend. Split up the sniper shots, and focus the prism fire on dangerous elements where you can.

Prisms are a sort of anti-tank, but they're only really effective when linked. If you plan to push this up to 1750, a bit more AT is in order. A basic guideseer and a couple of brightlances will be reliable; two small units of FDs will be better when they get their shots in, but far lacking in the range that the rest of the army has.

sadly this was a UK GT list so no 1750 expansion was planned, however i can see what you mean about pinning and fire prisms will be an effective anti tank as i will make sure that eldrads about to cast guide on at least one each turn, or at least that was the plan
