Is it still legal for a vehicle to pivot in the shooting phase? To give LOS to hull mounted weapons etc.
If so, is there a page that specifically mentions this? Some of the guys i play with say its not allowed anymore.. i can't think of a reason why it wouldn't be but can't find as specific a reference as was available in the last edition of the rules.

Can only turn in the movement phase.
Imagine the scenario where you are aimed at one squad but something else kills it, so you turn 90 degrees to face another unit in the shooting phase to bring weapons to bare. This is why you can't do it.

Well, that used to be perfectly legal last edition . I'm just in the habit from last edition of pivoting in the shooting phase.
i guess I'll have to break that habit soon then

Its OK - you can point any direction you want at the end of the movement phase.
Just make sure your tank gets range and LOS at that point and then if they fire first in the shooting phase the effect is just like you were used to.

You can pivot still, only in the Movement phase for vehicles, and in the Shooting phase for Walkers.
