This may have been discussed elsewhere and if so I apologize for bringing it up again. Anyways I believe the rules state a vehicle entering the table via deep strike counts as moving at cruising speed so a soul grinder cannot shoot when it enter the game. Correct?

Yes, the walker rules state that it moves and shoots as infantry. See page 72 of the BRB.

Yep, I agree. Walkers move differently from other vehicles and do not use the Combat/cruising/flat out speed bands.

The soulgrinder is a walker, and thus can move and fire all of its weapons.

(Edit: Note that I am in agreement with the two simultaneous posts above me.)

Um.....

The question was that the walker *can't* shoot when it comes in.

The answers should all be "No, not correct"

The title of the question states otherwise, though

But agreed with the others: the Soulgrinder does count as moving Cruising Speed, but this doesn't matter as the Walker rules override the normal vehicle movement rules and allows it to fire all weapons when it moves.

I agree with Coredump. reading the posts people were saying "Yes, correct. The Soulgrinder cannot fire when it Deepstrikes." which is of course, wrong.

A bit confusing when the title question is opposite the post question.

What, are we voting on some legislation here?! lol
