well its actually a really simple one. im thinking of making my warboss on a bike, with a big choppa. obviously the pros are great STR & T would both be 6. as well as having the smoke cloud rule and 4+ save. I was thinking of putting an attack squig on there as well. so what do ya think? im sure a few of my fellow ork players have already done this seeing as ive seen a few really nice conversions.

Convert one up Fo Sho' !!
Just be aware that it won't be the right option for every fight. Most experienced Ork players, especially those with bigger forces, have HQ options, including 2 or 3 Warbosses. Make one, play it and work out how you can use it best, then use it when it will be to your advantage. You other options include having a standard warboss, a black reach one with PK, and of course a Mega Armoured boss, either based on Ghaz or of your own creation. The more tools in your box the more jobs you'll be able to do. I would think a biker boss would excel against someone like the Tau where your normal footslogging dudes just can't catch those sneaky jump back into cover after shooting Tau dudes, which means you end up with endless draws in Annihilation.

well the biker idea came from me playing against SM. I usually play against SM and my brother uses bikers alot. the +1 toughness is such a pain in the butt in CC. I was planning on making a bad ACE mega warboss based off of thraka for the super big throw downs. i wasnt really plaling on keeping a AOBR type boss simply because a good squad of nobs can make up for that. just tons of ideas floating around seeing as im a new ork player.

Ah yeah, a White Scars or Ravenwing type SM army would be just as difficult to catch... all the marines round here are tac squd to the max or have dreads and stuff, basically it's can opener time, no need to rush as those guys aren't going anywhere!!
The only guys I've really struggled to catch so far are Tau.

Do you want modeling tips or tactical advice?
If you can't decide how you want to equip ypur warboss, think about where you want to take your army. Is it a horde? Is it a Kult of Speed?

i think its a good idea. but have 2 or 3 warbosses cos that one makes a good combine harvester but wont be doing the job your general needs to do. i recommend the biker boss leads a unit or two of bikers and you have one more for da boyz.

Biker Boss and three Biker Nobz make a great unit, because of all their wounds and toughness they survive well, but cos they cost so much compare to the rest of your army you need to deliver them safely into the world of PAIN you unleash in close combat.
Attack squigs are sooo worth 15 points, on the charge with 2 cc weapons and a stat of 3 attacks normally, thats 6 attacks!! sooo worth it.
