So here it goes:

Inquisitor Lord (psycannon, psychic hood, auspex)
gun servitor whit heavy bolter x3
mystic x3
sage

stormtroopers x7 (melta gun x2)
rhino (smoke launchers)

justicar (frag grenade, melta bombs, targeter)
grey knight x4

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Is this for a 500 point per side game? If so then the Mystics are unnecessary unless you are certain that you will be up against 500 points of drop podding marines or Daemons. Even if you go against those armies I would probably just take one mystic as the ability to allow a different squad to take a free shot doesn't look appealing based on the squads you have.

Drop the psychic hood and put a psycannon in the GK squad.

I would try to find some more redundancy here. Whatever troops I choose, I´ll use two of them with the same roles for them in mind. if you loose one of them, you still count on the other to make the job.

That said, DH is a really hard army to play, and at 500p it gets even harder. If you win you will earn some respect, thats for sure.

I have stated that I think redundancy is the way to go, so we only have two choices to make on the troops selection:
A. Two Units of Grey Knights
B. Two (or more) Units of Storm Troopers

If you go with the Grey Knights, I think you should maximize the benefits of the Veil. So you should take as many Psycannons you have points for, and keep as far of your enemy as you can, so he finds hard to be able to you. Keep walking backwards as long as you can and keep firing on him, just till he charges you. If he runs he doesn´t fire and when he arrives, he hopeful would be seriusly injured. And in Close combat you are not bad, so you would do well.

The Justicar with targeter sounds good for optimizing the distance neded for the veil to work. A third Psycannon would be perfect, but you would probably have no points for that.

With two Grey Knights units in mind, we have something like:
1x G.Knight Hero
2x5 G.Knights
-1 Justicar (Power Weapon)
-4 G.Knights (2xPsycannons)

That makes 461 points. You can buy one more psycannon (probably for the Hero) or whatever you like.

Pros: The Veil.
Cons: Few amount of minis, lack of antitank.

If you go Pure Gry Knights that would be the only way to go. But... I don't really think that going Pure G. Knights with this points is a wise choice. It would be funny to play, really flulffy, and as I said, if you win you´ll earn lots of respect, but if you really wanna win...

I´ll take something like:
1xInquistor+Retinue
-3xServogun(?) (3xHB)
5x5 Stormtroopers
-2xPlasma or 2xMelta (your choice, but I will go all Plas for the better distance)

That´s about 470. Yo still have points for buying some 3 more bodies, some equip on the armory, a smart Psychic power or whatever you need.

Yeah, it´s a lot of Killpoints, but at this level and with this army, you can obliterate your enemy.

- Pros: A lot of Fire Power, a lot of Troop Units.
- Cons: Cover saves everywhere (potentially making useless all your plas), a lot of KP.

Well, as I said, DH is a really hard army to play with, but this are the two best options that come to my mind.

Has this been of any utility for you?

Just two things:
1. English is not my mother tongue. I´m really sorry for the misunderstandings and the kicks to the dictionary. Don´t be too hard on me, OK?
2. With the best intentions sometimes comes the worst advice. But you asked for it, didn't you?

thanks for all the input!
i like 2nd. list better, lot of body's and hi strength/ap weapons. maybe chimera can fit in hire ?
is it psychic hood worth it (main enemy eldar)?
agree on mystics, i don't need ability to allow a different squad to take a free shot, they for extra wounds only.

which is better?

Inquisitor Lord (psycannon, auspex)
gun servitor whit heavy bolter x3
mystic x2
sage

stormtroopers x6 (plasma gun x2)
chimera (multi-laser, heavy bolter)

stormtroopers x6 (plasma gun x2)

stormtroopers x6 (plasma gun x2)

or

Inquisitor Lord (psycannon)
gun servitor whit heavy bolter x3

stormtroopers x5 (plasma gun x2)

stormtroopers x5 (plasma gun x2)

stormtroopers x5 (plasma gun x2)

stormtroopers x5 (plasma gun x2)

stormtroopers x5 (plasma gun x2)

thank you for advise.

I like the list with the 5 storm trooper squads. Should be enough to seriously hurt any MEQ army.

You'll get killed in kill point games though.

That´s the way I´d go
Maybe I´d change the psycannon for something different like the hood, if you are sure your Eldar opponent is having psychics, I´d take it.

Yeah, 6KP at 500 maybe are too much, but with this army, (and with this amount of points), you have a real chance of killing all your opponents units. And if you REALLY need it, you can make a lot of self-cover (giving to your adversary in the process, tough).

When expanding, don't take inquisitors unless ur taking assassins.

Which list are your talking about? Because there IS one Inquisitor in the list I think we are talking about. So if you want assassins you can just take one

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

its at this point in time when someone in a 500 point tourney takes a LR redeemer and 2 scout sniper squads + a cheap captain.
that would hurt lol.

thats another possibility though, is there any way you can get a LR in the list? at 500 points you dont have to worry about anti-tank.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

LR are good at 500 points, but your opponent having meltaguns or multimelta should be not really strange... In the above Inquisitor+Stormtroopers list there could be 10 meltaguns. Yeah they don't have a lot of range, but it´s enough for killing the occasional LR
