Rightyho, my first thread. i'm doing the schools league (krok gar ang balmung are in my team) and i wanted to do sisters of battle. ive had some models a while but i need to expand.

army list i'm using at the mo

10 sisters -stormbolter flamer sister superior-145pts
5 seraphim -hand flamers sister superior-about 150pts
total-about 300pts

so what do i do with the other pionts. i donno wether to induct some guard, have a unit of stormtroopers or a paladin.

i'll add some pictures. only the excorcist is finished.

paladin is pointless unless your gonna use faith. I'd say no inducted ig, cos for 100pts you can't get many (wait can you?). I'd say storm troopers, or ig if you get around 30

thing is with guard i get 20 more troops. the paladin keeps me safe from combat and came in very useful against balmung(made orks run and provided vital faith)

how useful is faith? i know this is an odd comment but consider kroot mercs, today i killed 10 chaos marines with 10 kroot on the charge and lost 4 in return...not bad (oh and the reason i lost 4 was because i couldn't disuade my opponent that a power sword dosen't give you an extra attack)

it actually does if it is placed on most anything in the csm list, because they also come with a bolt pistol.

What is this "paladin" you keep mentioning?

If you want to roll sisters, go either mechanized or power armor swarm. Storm bolters are... ok, but flamers and meltas are generally where it is at.
In any event, Faith is, in fact, where it is at. Being able to fire off a huge number of bolter shots, seeing how many hit, then deciding if you want those hits to be AP1 on a to wound of 6 is huge. Getting an invulnerabe save is huge. Popping out of a rhino and putting 4 flamer templates on a packed squad and poping Divine Guidance is huge.

However, if you only have a handful of girls, use them as allies to IG or SM. You have to be much more careful with your Faith Points, but you can still use the Seraphim to land next to a unit and set them on fire, and keep the Sisters as cheap objective holders. Books of St. Lucious keeping your other troops from fleeing from melee is also a great use.
