I'm thinkin' of startin' a kroot mercs list and want to take knarlocs...but...i don't have the cash, or really the will, to by the forgeworld stuff....so can you help me? Many have suggested toy dinosaurs but that just looks cheesy, unless you find good ones which i haven't...also can anyone send me the kroot mercs PDF as it has been removed from gw's site....

For knarlocs look at the new cold ones. ditch the riders and take the cold ones. they are affordable and look very nice.

The great knarloc is a different story though. I do not know how to do that one...

i was going to suggest the new cold ones for knarlocs.
for a great knarloc try the carnosaur model with something like a coctail stick quill Gs'd onto it.

Cold ones are too small for knarlocs.

For a greet knarloc try a toy T Rex/Allosaur and green stuff.

knarlocks and great knarlocs look the same, one has a single rider while the other has a whole crew.
one is huge, the other is simply the size of a horse or so.

True. i think the carnosur idea is good, but its still gonna cost me £60 (about $120) for three. I need to find a good lookin' dinosaur model that goes with one of the three cold one models

kroq, best bet mate is to try and find some Mcfarlane stuff, its allways pretty cheap and looks good, not sure if theres a site though.

ebay is probably your best bet. I got them for about £3 each. Mongoose have discontinued the SST range (which is a crying shame as its an awesome game) so they tend to be on sale most places. A lot of SST stuff is starting to attract high prices though - theres a die hard following out there, luckily the skinnie range was always unpopular.
