Hey all, I posted a couple of pics in a thread discussing scales n stuff for a Reaver and it was suggested I start a dedicated thread for my ongoing attempt to scratch build a Reaver titan.

As you can see its still got a way to go but any hints, tips or suggestions would be more than welcome.

Anyone else who has built one please show me yours too

That is pretty tight man. I actually like it unpainted!
You Pen/Sharpie lines from the Measuring make it seem....Tron-y or at least like a little bit Star Fox.
I see it's coming together beautifully. I wish nothing bad happens to that beautiful plasticard heap or Own.

That does sound rather dangerous. But I hope you had fun getting all the beer card you needed
The legs look very reavery but the top needs to be rounded before it will look like a reaver.

yeah the top wont look like that, it'll have a carapace going over its back.

its pretty sturdy, I've already made a warhound from the same material..it makes getting more cardstock fun! *burp*

Hey Dude, Great warhound, i made the same but made it Chaos! just one bit of advice........ get rid of the Vulcan mega bolter and make a Inferno gun. it rocks, played a 6000 point Apoc battle and took 10 Imp Guard units to 25% or less and ended the battle by moving 22 inches and Kicking a hole in the side of a Chimera Destroying it and the command squad in it!! How i laughed.

I have the Reaver templates but have not yet put one together, is it as easy as the warhound?

yeah thats a WIP lightning there, you can just make out a scratch built russ too.

Thats a great hound f74, i noticed it on another thread. The Reaver is more difficult than the warhound, its taking me a lot longer but that might be due to the crappy pva i'm using

I'm holding out on building a Reaver Titan untill GW eventually turns out rules for it. Since they already have the new Reaver at Forgeworld waiting in the wings, I can't see it being too long before they publish them.

I have done most of the back launcher, carapace and one of the shoulders, am working on the power fist to go under that.

The lightning I got from the BWC yahoo group, they have lightnings, thunderbolts and lots more, you would need to become a member though.

heres an update... I havent abandoned this baby.

Finished cuilding it, have started on the serious business of painting, this might take a while.

Sweet! I love the use of round bases for the missile launcher! The detailing really does bring it all together.

mini update, I found myself keep posting in f74s blog so figured I'd pull my finger out and crack on.

I seperated the titan at the waist so it can rotate on a rod, makes it easier to paint and transport too. I've added a bit more detail too... he is the work so far (still WIP of course).

Woo hoo Titans rule!!! would like to get our titans together and have a ruck! Imperial versus Nurgle!

Your Titan fist came out great although one complaint.... why isn't he flicking the bird? A marine size finger pointing to the sky!

quick update, I have added rivets which I'll now need to paint as they stand out too much at moment.

Am working on the base. I have ordered some magnets to join it together.
