It took quite a bit of searching to find it. By the looks it seems the UK and US site are now using the same layout. This means lots of these PDF's are no longer available on the sites. I'd suggest if we have copies, we may want to consider setting up our own resource thread. It seems the Australian site is about to make the same move, I'm not finding PDF's there either.

EDIT: I also wanted to mention, since I checked, that this info was originally released in the 2004 Chapter Approved book. Now, if I'm not mistaken, that book was released before 4th edition. While it'd probably be ok to field such a force in a game amongst friends, I doubt it'd be legal in any tournament. Also, there are obvious rules that may not apply in 5th edition. Then again, the upgrades for the DE are in that CA book also and it's still viable.

just a quick note, kroot merc's arent tourney legal anymore, i found out the hard way.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

The one thing I really hate about GW's new website layout is how, 'uninformative' it is. They really should keep a list of things no longer viable in play. However, I suppose we all could just assume the only things currently 'legal' for play are things currently being sold. Still, Kroot Mercs wouldn't be addressed in that now would it? (Rhetorical)

I actually have 40 kroot I painted up w/o any idea of what to do with them. It's nice to know that an option, even if only for friendly play, exists.

USE them, they are a really good way of getting rid of a fire base squad turn 1/2!
