I apologize if this is an old question, but I couldn't seem to locate the answers. How does an attack squig effect the power Klaw? Does it give you an extra klaw attack? Do mandiblasters effect the Scorpions Claw the same way? Yesterday in a game I had a Warboss with a klaw and squig come up against the scorp exarch with mandiblasters and Claw. We both thought it worked differently. It'd be great if someone could help me out. Thanks

ok easy to explain Attack Squig/Mandiblasters give you +1A ... having 2 CC weapons gives you +1A but you can't get this with a power fist you need a pair (or similar)

so going from the Scorpion he's got a claw, a chainsword and Mandiblasters ... when he's using the claw he gets his base attacks + 1A for charging (if he did) + 1A for the Mandiblasters but nothing for the chainsword as its not compatible ...
EDIT (this chunk isn't need / not right)

this has been covered here on dakka but also in some of the FAQs on the GW website

... on the other hand; to the best of my knollege (i half remember something about to many special weapons no giving bounses); if he strikes with his chainsword he gets his base attacks + 1A for charging (if he did) + 1A for the Mandiblasters and +1A for haveing a second CC weapon (the fist)

Sadly. the Scorpion doesn't ever get the +1A from an additional CCW. As per the BGB to get an additional attack with a PF, you must have another PF. Also, if you have a special weapon, you must use it.

You can never gain the "+1 A for two weapons" with a model armed with a Power Fist (or equivilant) without two of the same weapon.

Nope, two different specials give no bonus either.

so what you are saying is that the Ork WB with Attack squig and PK do not get the +1 A bonus either?

Yes, he gets +1A from the squig, he can never claim the +1A from an addition CCW unless he has 2 PC's.

Edited due to forgetting to place an "s" after get.

The mandiblaster works differently as well. So the SS Exarch gains +1A from the Mandiblaster but not an additional +1A for having a Shuriken Pistol and Scorpion's Claw.

Thank you for your enlightenment. Was that aimed at something I wrote?

Okay, first off thanks for the responses, second let me make certain that I understand:
A Warboss (4A) with an Attack Squig (+1A) would get his 5 attacks at double strength and at init 1.

The main reason this came up is that I've read somewhere (must've been on another board - not dakka) that a Striking Scorpion with the Claw, takes one attack at normal strength and initiative for the Mandiblasters, and the rest of his attacks at Init 1 with the Claw. Does this strike anyone else as incredibly fishy? Just trying to get a few outside opinions. Thanks

Nope, mandiblasters are just +1 attack, plain and simple, just like the squig. This rule about them is more than likely a hangover from the older codex where mandiblasters were a special attack taken at it's own unique initiative value.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).
