what amour facing does the orbital bombardment hit

barrage weapons say that they hit the armor facing the firer, but the firers in space

this is total RAI, but i'd go with side armor, as Cities of Death had units that were high enough up hitting the 'top' armor, which was equal to the side armor.

Though i'm not sure what the rules are for flyers in IA, they might be different.

They really should have rules for top armor, there are a couple of real world weapons that try to take advantage of lighter top armor on vehicles by popping up and coming down from above.
