In the imperial guard couldn't you give your guardsmen squads leadership 10 following this process?
Use a heroic seinor officer (leadership 9) then add a commissar to his squad (+1 leadership) that equals 10 leadership. Now just use a master vox and give each squad a vox caster. The rules under the commissar do say that qoute "the presence of a commissar in a unit will therefor add +1 leadership characteristics of the officer or seargent comm anding the unit for tests affecting that unit. Would that cancel it out or technicly would it be affecting the unit? Just wondering thanks fo any posts.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

You can get Ld10 for Guard with a commissar two ways. a Ld9 officer being asdvised or if the commissar leads the squad directly. For command squads you get the leadership bubble.

Vox and master vox benefit normally, i.e. one extra squad.

However all these upgrades are very pricy, you will be better off accepting ld8 guard with sufficient command squads.

I like Commissars, but the points costs dont work out in your favour. Vox doesnt work well at all, remember if nothing else a master Vox is just a guardsman, bomb his squad and he dies easily. No more Master Vox, your ld broadcast has just ended. So easy to do.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

put your command squd in carapace rmour, your gonna get a ton of cover anyway, just set them up with lots of long range nd hide em somewhere, but I dont liuike comisars as i spend so much on my orficer, one dice roll and he has his brains blown out...

I forget if it's in the new FAQ, but the Commissar's LD bonus is not conferred through a vox.

Anyway, in anything less that 1750 Voxes are a complete waste of points.

And I assume you mean Cameleoline, not Carapace?

But (per the FAQ) the LD 10 thing does work with your 12" Leadership bubble from your Officer. So at least your fire base can be rock solid for only 40 additional points.
