Anyone got any ideas on how to make Chaos Trolls on the cheap? I was thinking about stripped down, GSed Ogre Bulls but I think they'd need to be thinner.

how many do you need? getting a couple of "slugdrools" from the battle of skull pass boxed set should be no problem, and you could easily convert it to a chaos troll with a tentacle, spikes, or an extra arm etc. Bitz from the spawn box would probably be of service here.

more than 2-3, and you should consider other options.

I could buy them from the Warstore fairly easily. How well does the CSM mutation sprue fit?

The old sprue? The various arms should work pretty well with the trolls, and if you are prepared to do a little green stuff work to blend them in, should look like they grew there. Be sure to remove the various strapping from the arms though, as trolls generally do not wear clothing.
