My searches have only come up with threads about instant death so I'm appologizing now for bringing up something as little as this.

What is a toughness check? I don't own the new Chaos dex but apparently minis can get turned into chaos spawn if they fail a toughness check. During our game we failed to find any definition of it so we just rolled one die and if it was equal to or under the toughness we called it passed.

Is it supposed to be 2D6 like a Ld check? That seems stupid powerful but for a demon maybe that's the way it is.

...oh and if it's just my own blindness and it is in the BGB just give me the page number along with a virtual slap in the face.

You did it right, however a 6 is an automatic fail regardless of toughness. Also you roll against the models unmodified T, ie ignore bikes and MoN.

The House that Peterbilt

avantgarde has it right. Dunno page but it is like within the first 5 pages of the BRB right after the characteristics section and before movement.

Note too that Hit and Run is also a characteristic test against Initiative.

Iorek: "Snoogums, you're right. Your arguments are irrelevant, and they sure as heck aren't going away."

No.

Just to clarify - you use 1 D6 when you test against inititive or toughness. (1 is always pass, 6 is always fail, autofail if characteristic = 0 )
