I have an idea for a Trencher army that I have been kicking around.
Will have full unit of trenchers, UA, gernade porter, 2 cannon crews, 2 chain gun crews, Finn, Jr Warcaster, Grenadier, sentinal and a hunter or two for jacks. I will be going for the 750 level with this force.
I am thinking Siege with this army, but I know Stryker works well with Trenchers also. This army will face several different forces like Circle, Everbright, Cryx, Pirates, and possible a Kador army.
So which caster do you think will work better with these units?

Hrmnn. I think it really depends on what kind of games you're facing.
Siege works really well with this list (lots of AOES with explosivo and higher ground will help the trenchers tremendously) and he's not as dependent on lancers as Stryker, but Stryker has Arcane blast and earthquake, both can be really helpful against Cryx (though irrelevant against pirates). Even though you're shooting for 750, I don't know that EStryker would work any better (you'd be ignoring his elite cadre, and he's more geared for melee anyway...)
Even if you go for Siege, consider at least one Lancer, if only for the arc node.

I would say that Siege works better than Stryker, but both are options. Both could really benefit from a Lancer.
If anyone gets some melee units in to your line, you're sunk. Fortunately, by my estimate, you should have about 130 points left over. Stormlances would be great. Stormguard or Swordknights would work too.
Throw the Piper into the list, just for deailing with rough terrain.
If you're willing to use another caster, Haley or eHaley could work well with Trenchers (especially if you can pull off the turn 1 trencher assassination with eHaley and maybe some help from Eiryss).

Styker. Earthquake, Snipe, and Arcane shield all work to buff those trenchers and you definatley need that Lancer to target things at range. First turn AD Trenchers with 6 inches of snipe take care of most solos in the game first turn or make your oppontnent protect and screen them.

both casters are good STRYKER is more defence where as SEIGE is as you can gather by the name mpore offensive
stryer feat is +5 armour from what i can remember which is handy when everything is in combat or when sorcha has made popsicles outta everything
seige is all amour is halved which is good for killing casters or warlocks plus hes got a big rocket launcher whereas stryker has a disruper pistol
it all depends on your style of play
