So in my endless stream of army ideas, I was debating the merits of a Techmarine based army. I'm thinking two Masters of the Forge, both with Conversion Beamers, one on Bike with a Bike Squad for fodder, one on foot with Servitors with Plasma Cannons. One of each type of Dreadnought, a Thunderfire Cannon, two normal Techmarines playing as Serges for Tac Squads. I think it could be a very workable army, and fairly unique or at least uncommon.

I don't really know, as my codex is at home and I am sadly absent from such a happy place, but, though it doesn't sound like it would be great, it does seem like a really cool army.
I would advise against the techmarines with plasma though. With a SM you only have a 1/18 chance of losing a guy, but with serivtors with their 5+ save (is this right?), they are losing a guy every 9 shots... of which only 1/3 hit on target and the others scatter an average of 3.5 inches.

4+ save on Servitors. I agree they're not very good. Just want to try and squeeze a unit of em in there somewhere for fluffiness. May relegate them to a couple of random units that go unescorted and use a Tac Squad "retinue" for the Master of the Forge, though they can only have a single Plasma Cannon.

In fact, a very uncommon and (possibly) fluffy army. Have you thought about some counter-strike units?

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

I would replace one Master of the Forge with a Captain and Command Squad. No need to take two, I do not think.

Counter strike meaning close combat? I was kicking that around as a possible use of Servitors. A Techmarine leading Servitors gives you seven Power Fist attacks, in addition to three Power Weapon, and ten normal attacks on the charge. Not uber by any means, but enough fists to put a hurt on to most things.

I thought that unit you mentioned would be too expensive but - Techmarine+Harness+ pw + 5 servitors is 160 points. Not bad for 7pf attacks. Although they're all at I1, and with only 6 wounds (mostly 4+svs) it would be quite a fragile unit. - Still great to see it on the table though - keep it with the dreads and they should be able to fix any immobilized or weapon destroyed results with ease. (automatically if there are three suviving servitors).
For the counterstrike units - you have the bikes, maybe get more(they'd fit in with the theme) or kit out the sergeant and combat squad them. 3 +the attack bike with the Master of forge+conversion beamer for some shooting from range of the flanks, maybe taking down any enemy flankers. And the the sergeant with 4 other bikers behind cover somewhere centralish, ready to respond to deepstrikers or assault units that get too close.
What chapter are you thinking of doing them? I think it would be a really cool army.
p.s. I don't understand how you worked out your attacks - I make it three power weapon attacks (if techmarine has pw + bolt pistol) + 12 pfist attacks on the charge. (2 from the servo harness and 2 each from the five servitors)

You only get one Powerfist attack from each Servitor on the charge, as they're simply armed with a Servo-arm for that single extra attack each. In addition they'd get one normal attack from the profile, and a second normal attack on the charge.
For Chapter... I was thinking of making up chapter that had given itself over following the Omnissiah [sp?] completely. Another option is running em as the guys who had gone to Mars to learn how to become Techmarines, kind of the Adeptus Mechanicus' version of Deathwatch. Either way, I want red armor on all of em, even the non-Techmarines would be painted up as trainees learning to become Techmarines. If I did the second origin option I could paint the shoulder pads as different chapter colors and symbols across the army.

You should make your command squad all techy, like lots of bionic stuff or weapons grafted to the armor. I really like the idea of having different chapter markings and it's something I was thinking about for my chapter.
And it is Omnissiah.
you can use the skull decal from the SM squad set to make a really good Omnissiah. Just paint 1/2 the skull black, and you're a better painter than I am and you have probably already thought of all this...
Again, I really like the idea, and for the bikes you could make something similar to motorized forklifts of DOOM
