ok, plan is 30 grotz with 3 slavers to start with.
throw a big mek with KFF near by aswell.
add grotsnik to the army and give them all cybork bodies?

nothing in the ork dex says grotz cant have cybork bodies, ok, they are 8 points each, but they have a nice cover and Inv save now, throw em on an objective and hope for the best.

and lets face it, what not to like about bionik gretchin?

They're still only T2/S2 with S3 R12" ap- guns.
You can do the same thing with Boyz and get more out of it.

Sound like something silly like your avatar. Use max number of units and laugh twice as hard!.

I highly approve of grotz with a cybork body. What could go wrong?

because it's cooler. add grotsnik to the unit for an intimidating t2 feel-no-pain unit (that conveniently has no effect against bolters)

I've only played a few games, but from what i do know, it sounds quite cool, a kind of gretchin shield that is actually hard to kill.

not allways going to be in cover, and 33 models stands out alot.
+ they will allways get thier Inv save.

i'd put grotsnik with a unit of 30 ard boyz.
seems pointless since most weapons are S4+

I played a game a while ago against a unit of 30 grots. They sat on top of an objective in 3+ cover, and they ate Barbed Stranglers all game and the Slavers even managed to finish off my Flyrant. I don't think I even killed half of them before the game was over.

I don't think you want to spend any points helping them, when they can do that sort of thing with no upgrades.

The cost.

Plus, at Ld5 for grots and only 7 for the slavers, they run when you sneeze at them.

You have 33 models in the unit.

33/4=8.25

Turn 1: Lose 9 models in the first shooting phase and you're probably going to run off of the table.
Made your Ld check? Wow! Congratulations.

Turn 2: Lose 6 models in this shooting phase and you're probably going to run off of the table.

Rinse. Repeat.

they have a 7 with a reroll, odds are they arn't going anywhere

If you take Grotsnikk, and you take Mega Armored Nobs, you have no reason not to give them cybork bodies for a measily 5 points.

The Codex says so, but the FAQ finally made them more realistic.

They do not get Mob Rule.
