Hello to all, I am a long time 40k player (started with 2nd ed) hailing from Torrance California. at one point i had 7 armies at my command but have since cut out the useless dregs and have only my Imperial guard (Tallarn and its tank army) and am now starting again with the Space Marines (Nova marines) since the 5th ed has so nicely dropped a load of marines in the starter box.
I tend to run my armies very balanced, few HQ and elites and lots of troops, but i am also a bit of a tread head...but it looks like 5th rules has killed off my tank army ideals for now...
i have been out of the 40k loop for all of 4th edition so i have no ideal what i missed, but am going to start strong with 5th edition...
