I am starting a squad of DW Termies (AKA Ordo Xenos), and was curious if anyone had thoughts on what they should look like.

I was thinking of using GKT's, but I want to spice them up a bit, and really make them stand out as DW Termies, the same way GK Termies are vastly unique from standard Codex Termies.

Thoughts?

London (work) / Pompey (live, from time to time)

i would start with the plastic termies, more adaptable and less work to get a great look.
im sure there are DW pads for termies.

the storm bolter could use a sight on them and some extra bitz to make them look hi-tech like the normal DW bolters.

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

Well I kind of moved near Toronto, actually.

Aye, pretty much the same as the normal plastic termies. You could give them trophies.

Track down the old Index Astartes article on Deathwatch. They are 'black marines' but you can 'grey knight' them with trophies and icons as tacobake suggested, and also include a shoulderpad with their original color and icon. Best would be to have a mix of chapters, and to go for little seen chapters as well, or those that have more distinct markings. So, you might have one from the Minotaurs, one Red Scorpion, a Wolf Guard with pelts, etc.

Guinness: for those who are men of the cloth and football fans, but not necessarily in that order.

I think the lesson here is the best way to enjoy GW's games is to not use any of their rules.--Crimson Devil
