While February is a little ways away still I thought I'd start to spread the word about an upcoming event in the NE area.

What: Templecon '09
Where: Providence, RI - Providence Baltimore Hotel
When: February 6th - 8th

Templecon is a gaming convention in Providence RI which is entering its 4th year. Located this year at the Providence Baltimore hotel it hosts a variety of events including a huge number of Warhammer 40k and Warmachine events including tournaments for both. The convention also features your other usual gamer events (rpgs, ccgs, & video games) and vendors so there is plenty to do. While I did not attend last year a number of players from my FLGS went down for the 40k tourny and had a blast. They are planning on attending this year and my girlfriend and I are are planning on tagging along too. Below are a few shots of the 40k tourny from lasts years Con.

sorry about the seemingly dumb question- But i figured my problem out on my own. The hotel is not Baltimore, it is Biltmore. you may want to change the info up top.

How do I reserve a spot for the 40k torny?
How many points is it?
what are the rules? (anything out of the ordinary)

They don't have the rules up yet as they are finalizing the schedual still. More info will become available soon, last year I believe the tourny was 1850 though and I can't imagine it not being in that ballpark again.
