Heyo. I'm trying to make a rabbit head conversion for a Chaos Lord, very similar to my avatar. I've tried with a few Skaven heads, but none of them have the right shape. I'm thinking about trying with this model, but I'd like to see if anyone else has any other ideas.

scout around toyshops/model shops for model animals. Maybe you'll find a scale rabbit on a babies tooth ring or something.

Other than that, greenstuff may be the way to go.

yea i agree with brick on that one. the problem with just settling for somthing else, is no matter how nice the mini turns out.... its NOT what you were going for. keep searching or practice with some puddy until you get the head your wanting. itll be worth it in the end

I've practiced a lot with greenstuff and I'm great at gap filling and blending it to look like part of the model with slight texturing, etc... but when it comes to the sculpting, the greenstuff is not with me.

Hrm. Once, a long time ago, there was a line of minis that were essentially Rabbit Beastmen, armed with Spears, Axes, and Shields with Carrots on them. At one point, they made up the bulk of the Ungors in my Beastmen army. I can't for the life of me remember what company they were from, but I'm sure they're long gone by now.

Hey, so, getting off the phone with a friend of mine, I've found that I actually still do have some of these rabbit beastmen still. Apparently when I left San Francisco back in '99, I had him (accidentally or on purpose, I can't remember) hold onto my Beastmen army for me. He's about a two-hour drive from me, so I'm not sure when I can pick them up. I know that you need this sooner rather than later, but what type of timeframe are you looking at for this?
