With the advent of the new Space Marine codex I've been reworking my Sons of Vergus list and I now need an Honour Guard for Marchus, Master of the Sons of Vergus.

I really like the look of Marneus Calgars Honour Guard but there is an awful lot of Ultramarine Insignia molded onto them, how do you think I would get around this?

I was thinking maybe using green stuff to mold the omegas into circular plates or simply shaving them off, what do you think?

I myself was thinking of the shaving off, but as you said there are ALLOT of those symbols on there. Greenstuffing them into something else might actually be faster, and you have less of a chance of messing up another part.
