Here's my sorcerer. He's still a WIP obviously. I didn't know if anyone had anymore ideas. He's kinda basic right now. I'm thinking about going to the local craft store here and getting some fine link chains to add for effect.

I'm actually using this kit for my Deathwing Belial (yes, I filed off all the chaos-y stuff!).

What are your thoughts on the two rounded bits above the cape? I drilled into them and was going to place banners, but I'm not sure how much I really like the idea. Just curious to see what you were doing with them...

Otherwise, the model looks clean and the positioning's good. Hope you post pics when it's painted!

I clipped off and filed the exhausts down to where they are now. I'm debating some type of a banner.

I'm already leery though about making the model taller for practicality of 5th ed rules lawyering. "I can see the banner." Two railguns shots later....

Hehe... I think that's when you say, "Fine, but all you did was shoot holes in his pretty banner. How does that make you feel?" Just make sure you make the banners removable!

Then you tell him too bad cause the BRB says that you can't shoot at banners, weapons, ect

yea tell them there no way hes taking hits from the banner. thats like people saying they can shoot at a tank simply because they see the antennae's or some spikes from the dozer blade.

I had ordered a load of these arms and various bits before the bits catalog went out of commission.

I also got a few of the actual models lying around too. I'm gonna be using that body for another sorcerer, maybe a lord. *shrug*

While the model you snagged the arm from looks cool... I know you were thinking of adding chains, but I would NOT do it in a way that mirrors that model. The spike rising out of his back with the chains dangling looks particularly tacky.

No, I'm a huge opponent of spikey bits. I hate them. I play Slaaneshi themed armies and spikey seem to be more Khornate and Nurglesque to me.
