I finally broke down and took shining spears out of my 1500 list to try this list out, so far I like it and is seemed to be way more menacing.
HQ
Farseer-Doom, Guide, Stones, RoWit
Troops
6xpathfinders
6xpathfinders
10xDA-Exarch, bladestorm.
Put in Waveserpant TL EML, Stones.
Elites.
6x Firedragons-Exarch, Flamer, Crackshot-In the Falcon.
9xHalequines-Shadowseer, Kisses for all
9xHowling banshees-Exarch, Acrobatics, Executioner.
Put in Waveserpant TL EML, Stones.
Heavy.
Falcon-TL EML, Stones, Holo-fields.
1499pts.
The only major problems I had in the game were rolling far to many ones on my pathfinders, and playing my DA poorly but that is my fault because I am still learning the finesse of them .

Looks fairly crunchy to me. If it works then keep with it.

Looks good overall. This is what I would change
Take out Runes of Witnessing. It just increases your odds of rolling double ones and therefore getting perils. You only have a 1 in 12 chance of failing a LD10 psychic test anyway
Fire dragons are pretty much meant for one thing...killing tanks. I would take out the exarch and just run a squad of 6 vanilla fire dragons.
Those two changes will give you 22 points, just enough for an extra harly with a kiss.

You could stick the Farseer to a Pathfinder unit guiding it. What happened to the DA squad?

I dropped it in front of way to many marines expecting them all to die. They didn't and I got shot up. Live and learn.

The finesse is to leave them in the tank all the game for scoring purposes. If they get out they'll most likely die.

Seems like a waste of 30 guided shots at a doomed target to me....call me kooky.

Two units could do the trick via Serpent of Fury but one unit alone cannot.

But what's the odds of rolling double ones? I think it's pretty low.
What happens when you fight against a Nid or Eldar player that forces you to roll 3 dice and basically shuts down all your psyic powers? IMO if you're spending 75 points on two powers and the ability to use two powers a turn, it's worth dropping the extra 10pts to make sure you'll be able to use them.

It can help if you have multiple units of DA working on a single squad. Doom of course can also help, or if you're planning on blade storming and the exarch has a power sword depending on your numbers Vs them (and if they're in terrain or not) it can be a good move to follow a bladestorm with an assault.
