I have recently installed and updated AB3.whatever... I can make allllll sorts of lists with orks of all flavors to my hearts content. That is, until I try to add Snikrot, or Ghazgull. Am I missing a special dropdown button to access these guys (or any special characters). I am rubbish at trying to use the data/file editor/creator. I spent hours banging my head on the keyboard like that muppet piano player. Has anyone else out there had this issue? What am I missing? If there is anyone out there that has successfully edited the darn thing, I would be deeply gratefull if you send me the file. Thanks in advance -KK

They show up fine on mine. Ghazkull is there. I just have the regular file.
Try clicking on the "HQ" tab at the top and see what happens

As for Snikrot - He's purchased from within the Kommandos unit.
Buy your Kommandos, then click "add unit," then click "Boss Snikrot."

The error I have found is taht it'll let me take too many units without giving me an error.
For Shiggles, I chose EVERY HQ option. It told me I still had a valid list (until I chose Ghazzy twice LOL).

One of the settings is for special characters.
There are three little icons on the right, above the 'available units' box. Click the one with the tick.
Make sure the special characters box is ticked under 'Roster options', and you should be set.

Thanks for the tip chromedog, it seems so simple. I'll try it when I get home from work. I literally tried for hours to make my own datafile... <smacks head>

OK, edit post, got home and it works like a charm, just as proximity describes it. thanks again chromedog/proximity.... all is well in the world again -KK

Yup, I had the same thing when I first started fiddling with AB, took a while to find the options to enable special characters.

Roster->Change Rules->then click Roster Options on the left->Then tick "Special Characters" and you should be good to go !
