The bent back helmet "wings" is a new twist (pun intended) I, like you, removed the huge 80's hair metal do from his head, just looks silly I think.

Sweet as. i never liked the hair on the avatar, so this is truely a great model and the colours are great plus the BT in half is funny and good news

Fabulous painting there, and I think the base also gives great character to this model. Not so sure about the bent ear-things though, but I've always found that weird on the model, way too khornate...

Hey thanks a lot, yea I never liked the hair blob anyway, besides I always see them broken on Avatars and I figured the mini had enough head stuff going on anyway...

PS I painted this when the BT codex was NEW, thats how old the Avatar is...
