Once when I wanted to do a Jain Zar I couldn't seem to get my hands on one. Do they even sell her anymore? I have no idea, so I made this conversion, hope you like it! (See my other threads for some cool work!) It was kind of a blazing theme!

Nice. How much of that is original?

Very nice conversion, I think the old model looks horrid lol. I have it in metal sitting around with the rest of the Pheonix lords unassembled gathering dust.

I preffer yours except that she does not have her Triskele, the 3 bladed throwing weapon.

Thats great, i love the actual model heaps, i think that a more cinematic pose would have been abit better but its still great.

What did you use for the shoulder pads?

The torso is the champion of Slanesh from WHFB.

Yes I know, no Triskele, I probably should have done that instead of 2 spears, as it doesn't really look like JZ.

Glad you guys liked it.

Don't mess with the Chick with Sticks...I like.

-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Very nice Augustus, but I second the recommendation for the "Silent Death" triskele which is iconic for the model. I have all the Phoenix Lords but Fuegan and find them all to be very 80's-metal-hair-band kind of models, part of the appeal for me.

The problem I have with the original JZ is that she's so top heavy (I'm not talking bra size, boys) and she has tiny feet making for lousy base contact and balance.

I feel all the lords could use a resculpt to make them more in line with the current Eldar style that's changed since guardians had phallic symbols for helmets. Oh, and warp spiders too, not that anyone uses them in lists these days...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

Agreed, totally. But then "Needs a 5th Redux" is how I basically feel about the whole Eldar army...

The paint job is nice on it, and the conversion is unique. It just doesn't seem to me that there's any contrast, any way of separating out areas of the model. It feels like it's lacking something. Maybe I just need to see it in person.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Very nice, I do admit that replacing one of the spears with the disk would be a good idea.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.
