Just finished the first rank of my Brettonian themed Black Knights.
I am going for a different look with these. My dissatisfaction with the VC cavalry models prompted me to theme my VC as Brettonians. I decided to use KotR figures and weather them and rust them to make them look old. The look I am trying to get is of sealed suits of armor that have an unnatural glow from within. I did not try adding skeletal parts or anything because I feel those would look tacked on because you would have a broad chest and legs and then skinny skeletal pieces.
Second rank is hot on the heels, pardon the pun.
The photo's are not the best and I think basing will go a long way, but that will have to wait.
Comments and criticism please.

Trust no one! The minute God crapped out the third caveman, a conspiracy was hatched against one of them.

My eyes must be going - these look like the normal KotR sprues with a darker paint job. I suppose people will figure out what they are when they see you put those skeleton and wolf units on the table however. The paint scheme looks fine and all, they just don't appear to be particularly undead.

When soldiers think, it's called routing.

Looks good to me. If you had a "headless horseman" style champ, it would seal the deal.

I agree they look great...but they don't look like they are part of an Undead army. You need some skeletal parts somewhere to give that look.

Basically they look like slightly darker KotR. Still nice paintjobs though.

I like them a lot, Everything but the Neon Green stuff... I think the neon green for the eyes can work but you need a black ring around the eyes on the inside of the visor, I would lose the neon green spots and noses though. Also I think a couple knights with missing armor (showing rotting flesh and bones) would add to the effect, it not like undead need armor all that much anways.

Enough of that talk. I don't think that EVERY undead unit/army must have rotting and such stuff. No, I like these guys. It's important to note that I have a pathological hatred for Brettonians. So for me to like these, you must have done great. Good work!

Big enough to have a fall down template. Yup, that's me!
