Here's a silly question that I feel I should know the answer too but don't.
Do you always get to attempt to make an armor save (barring special weapons that say no armor save allowed) if the -str modifier is higher then your armor..
Example
Armor save of 5+ vs str 7 (-4 to your armor) Does that mean you can still attempt to roll a six and save or is your armor just useless?
*On a side note* Does anybody know of a lizardmen forum like bugmens is for dwarves

no you don't get an armour save in this instance ... each point of strenth over 3 is reducing you're save by a point ... so an armour save of 2+ becomes... 3+ against strenth 4 4+ against strenth 5 5+ against strenth 6 6 against strenth 7 and no armour saves against strenth 8 or above ... i think you're getting mixed up with shooting rolls (which can require a roll of 6 followed by another roll)

Well, technically you get an armor save. Unfortunately, you'd have to roll a 9 on 1D6- and you can't use the 6 + another 6 chart. So while you can roll your armor saves, you're guaranteed failing all of them.

You can on certain characters crank your save up to an insane level usually -1 but I've heard of perhaps 1 case where you can get a -2 these days.

Took on a Chaos Lord last night who had Chaos Armour (4+) Enchanted Shield (2+) riding a Jugger (-1+)
Thankfully, my Warboss landed two killing Blows, knocking him straight out the saddle in the 2nd round of combat, and thanks to the Tricksy Trinkey, I got his save. Hahahahahahahaha!
